Improvements of two preconditioned AOR iterative methods for Z-matrices
In this paper, we propose two preconditioned AOR iterative methods to solve systems of linear equations whose coefficient matrices are Z-matrix. These methods can be considered as improvements of two previously presented ones in the literature. Finally some numerical experiments are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed preconditioners.
متن کاملIterative Methods for Image Deblurring
This tutorial paper discusses the use of iterative restoration algorithms for the removal of linear blurs from photographic Images which may also be assumed to be degraded by pointwise nonlineariries such as film saturation and additive noise. lterative algorithms are particularly attractive for this application because they allow for the incorporation of various types of prior knowledge about ...
متن کاملIterative Methods for Image Restoration
Although image restoration methods based on spectral filtering techniques are very efficient, they can be applied only to problems with fairly simple spatially invariant blurring operators. Iterative methods, however, are much more flexible; they can be very efficient for spatially invariant as well as spatially variant blurs, they can incorporate a variety of regularization techniques and boun...
متن کاملOptical methods for iterative image restoration
In this paper we propose a new totally optical approach to the implementation of iterative algorithms for image restoration. A phase conjugating mirror (PCM) is employed as an amplifying element to implement a coherent optical feedback system capable of performing iterative operations on a spatially modulated input beam. Three systems are suggested. Their optical analysis is performed. The obta...
